TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Hawks Nest Resort guests agree to the terms expressed below,including conditions of deposit, damage replacement, and payment procedures.
- 50% DEPOSIT UPON RESERVATION -
One-half of your total booking fee will be deducted from your account at the time of reservation. Second half of payment plus your 10% administrative charge is deducted before your arrival so that we can have your paper work ready to sign upon arrival.
- CANCELLATIONS -
We will be happy to return your deposit prior to 65 days of the scheduled reservation. If we are unable to re-rent the log home you reserved, you will take the chance of losing your 50% deposit. If cancellations are made within 65-days of the scheduled reservation, we will return your deposit only if we are able to re-rent the home during the period for which you booked. Please give us as much notice as possible so that we may fill the vacancy. There is also a $200.00 cancellation fee.
- PRE-APPROVAL OF COVERAGE FOR DAMAGES REQUIRED -
When making a reservation, all guests hereby agree to provide Hawks Nest Resort full coverage of damages to the property during their stay at the resort. In the event additional charges are incurred, the guest will be notified, yet no additional expression of approval is needed by the resort in obtaining coverage of damages. The invoice that you sign at check in is already giving Hawks Nest permission to deduct $500 for damages and $100.00 for missing items. The customer agrees to these terms at the time of making the reservation, and charges will be made to the same account provided with the reservation. "Damages" include additional cleaning resulting from negligent house-keeping, and/or the replacement cost of broken or missing items.
- FULL PAYMENT REQUIRED AT CHECK-IN -
We accept Visa, MasterCard, or Verified Check. Cash is also a welcome means of payment for your reservation but we must still have a Credit Card on file and 50% must be paid in advance to hold your home. All sales and use taxes, phone charges and/or any additional amenities ordered and delivered throughout your stay will be added to the final bill submitted for payment. If you requested firewood during your stay, you will need to pay cash for this, on arrival.
